Our Big Day

Well as some of you know we have been totally hard at work, now that it's over and all is said and done, there isn't anything that I would change. It was perfect, not hot and not raining.

So people started arriving on the Sunday prior to the wedding. We did a couple of touristy things, but of course the weather wasn't the greatest. So we did alot of preparing on those miserable days. Thursday is when alot of the company arrived.

Our best man and matron of honour arrived early Thursday morning so they were involved in the end of the planning. Well needless to say on Friday afternoon the gods opened up the skies and let it POUR for the afternoon. Of course this was the day that we had scheduled to do the setting up of decorations and table... NOPE!!

On Friday night we held a informal bar-b-que here at the house. It was great. A good crowd of about 30 and a whole lot of laughs. But it did manage to clear up for the party.

So early Saturday morning, 5am to be exact, I dragged my butt out of bed, not sure whether it was excitement or worrying... But as I looked outside I kept wondering "Why the hell does it have to be so black out" on my wedding day...... So it decided to clear the blackness away from the clouds... at about 9:30 we headed over the the house to do all the tasks that were supposed to be done on Friday.

Sooner that I knew it it was time to get the hair done.. We got that done, home to iron all the kids outfits... Thanks to Chad's brother Randy he had them all in order and had assembly lined them into showers and baths... That sure helped... Then on to the task of trying to iron my dress... What hell that was, I gave up and figured that if anyone noticed the wrinkles then they were too close to me. We were supposed to have pictures taken at the beach but of course running late... we didn't. A couple of pictures at the house and we were off to mom's. EARLY I might add!! I cheated and was peeking out the window as people arrived. It was fun. So then it was our turn. Brandon looked so handsome and Taylor like an angel. We head for the deck, which is where we were leaving from. Fot those of you that don't know, I walked down the aisle to "Tarzan" the theme song to the cartoon. It was great.
