August 2000

We haven't had vacations. All we do is go camping, that is what we consider our vacations.

Here are a few shots of where we camp..... And hope to honeymoon if either of us gets any time off this year..

We took a family ski trip with my mom's side of the family in March then when Kelly arrived we took another without Chad, as he was working... It was a blast

August 2001

Then this past August we were supposed to take our honeymoon, which we did partially. We went camping to the spot above.... But took 4 kids with us. It was terribly windy and not all that nice. So after 3 days packed up and the kids headed to friends for a couple of nights. Chad and I took advantage of it and went to salmon fest in Port Alberni, and then Sunday headed to Tofino and Long Beach, here are a few pictures taken on our new digital palmcorder that we received as a gift at the wedding....

there were taken on long beach, as you can see I'm not the best with the camera yet. Chad has never been here and was totally amazed at the height of the waves.... They were about 15 feet high the day that we were there.

These rocks were so cool, during the summer when the river is down you can walk all over them and take in the fast running water. It was really cool. This was on our way home from Tofino. Which by the way Chad didn't really like there. Just a small town he said.
